Similarly, the most powerful CLE currently available, the Mercedes-AMG CLE53, features a 443-horsepower version of that six-cylinder engine. Unlike the E53 wagon, the CLE53 doesn’t use a plug-in hybrid system. It is presumed that any future CLE63 coupe or CLE63 convertible would generate even more power, likely from an AMG-tuned version of the new twin-turbo V-8.
